MAY YOU HAVE THE MERRIEST OF MERRy CHRISTMASES

Dickens is included in a lot of Christmas stories because of "A Christmas Carol".  As pictured in Mr. Fezzweg's Ball complete with a huge sprig or actually spray of mistletoe.

"God bless us everyone," Tiny Tim's imperative is often quoted as well.  Along with a Scrooge.  And a family that teaches many biblical principles to Ebaneezer.

Yet the Charles Dickens' classic is fiction.  The Christmas Story.  His Story is not.

Jesus, Lord at His birth is true.  An amazing story.  Yet so all important.  For if one doesn't believe that God sent His own Son from being at His the right hand to earth to pay the price of sin for mankind, well then only doom awaits.

Not salvation.  Not an eternity in Heaven.  Only isolation, only separation, only the gnashing of teeth from severe pain in Hell.

And that's the simple gospel truth of Christmas.

God sent a Savior. Accept Him.  Worship Him.  Follow Him as best you can.  And even if you fall along the way, repent and God forgives and forgets every sin: past, present, and future.  It's the gift of grace that no one can earn, so none may boast.

Give yourself the best Christmas present ever this season and accept Jesus Christ as your savior.  There is simply no other way.  Embrace the light and the truth and enjoy a Christmas.  One with Christ at the center.
